Why Bachelor tenants are not preferred?

When I look for an apartment they always ask "family or bachelor ". After this chances of getting that place reduces once I say bachelor. But why is it so? One reason I know: because bachelors get drunk, or some drugs, will fight with others and create a scene in that condition. Some might bring different girls or boys every day. Now not all are like this! But based on my observation, family people fight a lot more often. Fights between husband and wife can be too loud to easily disturb neighbors. So are the owners fine with regular family fights than a bachelor? I asked the same question to my friend today and he told me that bachelors, specially boys, live in a dirty way. They ruin the place, never clean it. That's why owners don't prefer them. That's why I thought of asking the same here. And if any owner is here please feel free to share your thoughts on this.
