Poilce wont give me my phone!!

So my phone was stolen few months ago and i reported it to the police. The police found it a month ago and told me to come to a police q and a session in dsce where lots of lost and found phones were kept. The other branches distributed the phones but my branch told that they would give in station and that they would call. I followed up multiple times and it has veen more than a month of delay. They are not giving the phone, what can i do pls help
