Phone was almost stolen at 7am

21M, a regular commuter from Banashankari to Haroharli. I use KSRTC almost twice a week for travelling to my college, heard instances from a couple of friends where they had their phones stolen from their pockets. It was quite ealry in the morning and I went out of the metro station and hurried as the bus was already waiting, meanwhile the crowd was lesser than usual since it was early, as I went to get up on the bus, I just felt the phone was missing from my pocket and looked back and found a guy with a bag held awkwardly in his hand and all of a sudden my phone was fell down and it was near the staircase of the bus, i quickly picked it up and got angry, I sweared, and the guy ran off, tried to catch him but he already had a headstart, I got a hold of his bag and found it was relatively new and empty, nothing inside, not a single thing i mean, fell down on the process of chasing him (still gutted that my jacket was torn at a bad place), no one, literally no one tried to get a hold of that guy, I'm so frustrated that these things are so common and authorities don't bat an eye, I don't know if anything can be done in this regard, but I'll ask you guys to be careful while you're out there in Banashankari.
