Parking at Baiyappanahalli Metro station

As someone who has parked his 2 wheeler multiple times at the Baiyappanahalli metro station, it has usually never been beyond 6pm. Although this weekend I plan to visit a couple of other places in the city and might return a little later. Have been considering leaving my scooter at the metro station and using the metro for an easier commute, but can't seem to figure out till what time we can park it in the paid 2 wheeler parking section and how safe it is once it gets dark. Hoping to get some answers from anyone who might be using it on a regular basis so that I can put my mind at ease or look to finding other alternative travel plans. Thanks in advance.
