Horrific incident near Kormangala

So this happened few weeks back when a friend of mine visited my place. I live in SG palya and he live in Hebbal. It was late at night at around 12 and he had to book a cab. I thought of dropping him near Koramangala because it will be easier for him to get a cab from there. Now when I reach near koramangala's bus stand which is just near the Nexus Mall. I stopped my scooty, and we both were trying to find cabs on uber. Suddenly a man came and tried to snatched my mobile and started scolding me thinking I was some rapido guy. He was a cab driver I guess, just after this 2-3 auto driver also came after him. The thought that I am rapido driver. Now when they so the app that I was actually booking for my friend they stopped and went aside. As a person who's new to blr, i was terrified. Then they were waiting for a rapido driver. so much of hatred for the rapido people it just feels so bad. I feel bad for the rapido drivers who become target for such people. I think they deliberately book rapido so that they can harras the drivers.
