Fell to both classic auto scams- Meter and Cash

I fell to both the classic scams of our city’s auto hooligans. I had taken auto from Shantala majestic to Jalahalli. Went directly due to the cold weather instead of waiting for an app auto. Utterly stupidity on my part. The total ride is 15kms. Meter rate should be ₹225. The auto guy asked for 2x meter which seemed fair at 5am. But by the time we reached the meter had run to ₹430 and he was asking 2x of it. We had a very big argument where he was so aggressive and abusive. Finally settled for ₹600. But he insisted cash instead of UPI. Another argument for that and we paid 6*100 but he claimed one note short and took ₹700 from us. TL;DR: DO NOT TAKE AUTOS DIRECTLY IN BENGALURU.These auto guys are grade A scoundrels who will 100% loot you. PS: I have his license plate and would request any remedy i can seek.
