Barricading of roads when politicians pass

The whole barricading of roads when politicians pass by with so much police personnel standing at each intersection? It's almost as if their time is so much more valuable than the common man's for whom the road is blocked (for both pedestrians and vehicles) till then. I feel like If anyone should be subjected to the Bangalore traffic it should be the people who are incharge of making the infra better rather than this circus. l realize this is nothing more than a flawed vent which won't really change anything but I just wanted to type it out eitherway. Sincelerely, A person stuck in a pocket road for the last 10 min for some hotshot who is supposed to pass by
