    A girl got electrocuted

At the flea market on Sobha Church Street, I was browsing through the stalls when I saw something truly heartbreaking. A young girl, probably around 10 or 12 years old, was holding onto one of the metal bars of a stall when she suddenly screamed and collapsed after being electrocuted. A man at the stall quickly pulled her away, and about five minutes later she finally regained consciousness. Seeing her struggle and her parents crying for help was devastating. I felt so helpless, but thankfully, the people around stepped in to support the family. Even on my way home, I couldn’t stop thinking about her. Was she okay? Did everything go well at the hospital? Are her parents fine? I just hope she’s doing better now and that nothing serious happened. This incident really made me think about the safety at the market. If a single wire is powering so many stalls, why hasn’t anyone ensured proper precautions are in place? With so many visitors, safety should be a priority. I hope this is taken seriously so no one else has to go through something so terrifying.
