The property is registered in her name, and we have a Xerox copy of the property papers. However, the original documents are held by my dad, who lives in another city. We’re not in contact with him, and trying to retrieve the documents directly from him could lead to legal complications, which might delay or even block the sale of the property. Since the property is in my mom’s name and we have a Xerox copy, is it possible to get the original documents reissued by BBMP? If yes, what is the process for this?
