Why is be3r so damn expensive here?

Bangalore prides itself as being the city of breweries but the prices of a decent can of beer are just extortionate here. A single 500 mL can of KF Ultra is now ₹180. Not even an imported beer but locally made stuff. Lot of other versions of KF, Tuborg etc seem extremely watered down and like drinking flavoured water. Wine shops are now stacking tons of Gen-Z focused beer like Geist, Bira, Woodpecker, etc which have fancy packaging but the product itself is just average. The cheaper beers ie those costing less than 150 are a health hazard because it seems they mix some chemicals in them. I’m not sure what everyone drinks but even going out to a brewery now a pint of beer is like 300-400 bucks which is ridiculous. In my travels, I have had beer in first world countries that are much cheaper and better than here which is just comical. What are your thoughts on this?
