Rude auto

I was coming back from college a auto touched my scooty from behind when I told what are u doing politely he started abusing me and I not wanted to escalate went ahead then again he came besides me and told don't u have common sense and was yelling i told him I was driving and u are the one wrong here then he angerly slightly collided his auto to my leg(nothing major) in order to show his agression and went. Now what should I do should I report his Auto number to police station or just go home. Auto number - KA02Ah4937
