Renting Areas between Bellandur and Indiranagar

I and my live-in partner want to rent a place which makes it possible for both of us to commute easily for work. I work at Indiranagar and he works at Bellandur. What are the areas where we can rent reasonably a 1bhk (furnished or otherwise)so that the commute isnt too tiring for both of us. The area should be relatively safe/walkable at night. We are new to the city. Please help.
