Reducing Bangalore Traffic Violations - and Making Money While Doing So!

Every day I notice multiple traffic violations that just make our traffic situation worse. From vehicles driving the wrong way, to people on their mobile phones, to signal jumpers, to cars parked along No Parking roads, and so on. I just saw an Instagram post saying Vietnam has implemented a snitch to earn for traffic violations. If you report someone for breaking a traffic violation, you can earn a 10% bounty if they get fined. Imagine everyone with a camera phone now able to report violations and actually make some money off it too! It's a win for the general public, win for the government collecting the fines and win for the person reporting who also makes some extra cash. What do you think? Will something like this work in Namma Bengaluru? Can BTP Public Eye actually be monetised? What could be potential drawbacks of implementing this?
