Planning a trip to Hampi

Hello! My friends and I are planning a trip to Hampi in the next couple of weeks. I haven’t been to Hampi since 2018, all I know is that hippie island has been demolished 🥲 Seeking advice on stays with a similar vibe as hippie island and also if any of you have been there lately can confirm if there is decent speed + consistent wifi??
