People riding motorcycles/scooters in the footpath!

I don't understand why do people shove their 2 wheelers in any footpath during a traffic signal or traffic jam. What do they gain by saving 2 seconds of their time? If time would have been so precious they wouldnot be driving a 2 wheeler. Matlab jidhar bhi ched dekho udhar hi ghusa do?!🤬
