In 48 Hours I Mapped Bengaluru ( Sort Of ) Am I Correct ? !
Hey r/bangalore , ⚠️ There may be some errors in this , "After all I was born yesterday" *(AVG2 Ultron Ref )* Just landed in this city **48 hours ago**, and man, Bengaluru is **not just a city, it’s like a network of interconnected "mini-cities"** (or what I call *hotspots*). Each area feels like it has its own ecosystem, people, social culture, and even its own price tag for having fun. Now, before I fully settle in, I did a rough **48-hour crash course** on how this city works—observing vibes, food scenes, nightlife, traffic (oh god, the traffic), and the general feel of different areas. Here’s what I think **each "hotspot" is known for**: what I think **each "hotspot" is known for**: * **Koramangala** – The place to be if you like **tech startups, cafes, and a nightlife scene that actually feels alive**. Feels like young professionals dominate this place. * **Indiranagar** – Fancy pubs, expensive restaurants, and a bit of an "I work at a unicorn startup" energy. Am I wrong? * **Whitefield** – This is where Bengaluru’s tech money is made, but it feels like a **whole different city** with its own timezone because of the traffic. * **HSR Layout** – Chill but not *too* chill. A balanced mix of **work, leisure, and greenery**. * **Bellandur/Outer Ring Road (ORR)** – It’s like **Techland** where companies and giant apartment complexes rule everything. People probably spend more time commuting than actually living here. * **Electronic City** – More affordable than the above, but still its own **IT hub with its own personality**. If you live here, do you even leave? * **MG Road & Brigade Road** – Feels like the **"let's go out" place**—shopping, pubs, commercial madness, but not exactly a place where people *live*? * JP Nagar : Residential Area ( Next Update ) That’s just the **tip of the iceberg**—I actually broke down a lot more in terms of: ✅ **What kind of social scene to expect in each place** (casual vs. corporate networking) ✅ **Best times to visit these areas** (because some places are only fun during certain hours) ✅ **How much money you need to have** ***maximum fun*** **in each place** (so you don’t end up broke in a single night out) I compiled all of this into **a Notion guide I’m building**—check it out here: 👉 [**CrashCourse { Bengaluru } (CCB)**](https://honey-pleasure-e61.notion.site/CrashCourse-Bengaluru-CCB-1a559bd6e6b880b7af09e8ae6aaa869c) # Now tell me—did I get this right, or am I completely off? 🤔 Would love to hear from you locals—what did I miss, what did I totally screw up, and what’s something only a *true* Bengalurean would know?1
