Got chased by stray dogs(HSR) while cycling tonight – Need Advice!

Hey everyone, I had a pretty scary experience earlier tonight while cycling in HSR. Two dogs chased me for a good 2-3 minutes, and then another dog in a different street did the same. It felt really intimidating and unsafe. Earlier this year, a friend of mine was bitten by a stray dog while walking at night, and he had to go through multiple rounds of injections. So, this is not just a one-off incident. I’m looking for advice—what can I do to avoid getting chased by dogs while cycling at night? Should I carry treats or something else? For context, I don’t engage with them at all, but they still seem to see me as a target😭😭 Would love to hear any tips or experiences from others who've faced similar issues.
