Dilemma - [4 months] Long school commute for Kids vs Shift to another rental home

Hi All, This is my first post here. I am facing a situation where taking decision is bit challenging. Have 2 kids - 9 and 5. Currently stay in Kadubisanahalli and kids school distance is less than 500m and walking to school. Bought a flat in Hosa road and occupancy of the flat is around October 2025 (will get flat handover by April/May and get interior done in 3-4 months). Have seen a new school for both my kids in Hosa road, which is close to 3km from the new flat. Challenge I am facing now is for 4 months - from June to September 2025. Currently the school do not have any pickup/drop to Kadubisanahalli but if we insist they can do that. Today the closest they do pickup/drop is 4kms away. My concern is for 4 kms, there are no other kids in the school bus and my kids will be there alone (as school ends on different times for both kids, they arrive home on different times). I initially thought of moving to another flat for rent by April 2025 closer to Hosa raod and stay there for 5-6 months and then move to our own flat. But by reading experiences of other people staying in rent, I am not sure if that's worth the effort - double shifting, experiencing any kind of issues with the owner. This is mostly to avoid my kids commute longer to school and they did not have longer commute experience till now. Though this is only for 4 months of difficulty. Current flat is the first one I am staying in rent in Bangalore and owner is kind person. But not sure if I get a similar one in the second rented flat, given that I intend to stay only for 5-6 months and end up having any kind of issues when I vacate to our own flat. Appreciate any insights into this.
