Almost got assaulted by a mob in Nagaon yesterday

Yesterday, me and my family were returning from Kaziranga and stopped near the intersection cut next to a chai tapri where we were having our evening tea. Our car was out of the road and was in rest. Out of nowhere, two bikers with a speed close to 100 tried making a turn and skated on the road and eventually hitting our car. I helped them up and tried stopping them when they were running away. Any idea about Jatinga Bird Phenomenon?

I recently came across the story of Jatinga. It's said every year between September and November, birds (including migratory ones) seem to fly toward lights at night and end up crashing and dying.
