How have Mughals been viewed historically and academically in Assam? Were they seen as an existential threat or strong enemies?

Even now, I am curious about how Axomiyas view Mughals I know Assamese people have way more reasons to have grievances towards the Burmese for destroying their state completely and allowing British colonization happen. There have been plenty of wars in the history of Assam. So what has been the perspective on the Mughals? What changes did their arrival bring to the Assamese mindset?
