Why is beating kids in India so normalised

Hi guys 21M here. I was just wondering why is beating kids in India considered to be so normal. And the bigger question is why do kids not reset their parents for long time. As someone who has been beaten by his mom, I love her so much😂. Even in my relatives family, I have seen the threat of beating as a form of discipline. What are your thoughts on people saying "that's just my preference " towards lighter shade ethnicity and glorifying stereotypes of particular race men being " hyper masc " or for women " docile " & oh not a feminist?

I'd be happy to site papers on ethnic fetishization, " non - white women " and scientific factors on attraction. And " just a preference " is shaped by exposure , conditioning. Media & culture always plays role of what shape , size is deemed worthy to be with .
