When these food delivery apps asks us to donate to feed the poor, aren't they just benefitting themselves?

I have heard that you get some expemptions on taxes for the amount of money you donate to charity and since these food delivery organisations and anything that asks us, the users to donate money to feed or educate or save a poor, won't they just register our donation under their own name and show it the govt or tax department as their own donations? 4 am thoughts but seriously wanna know. Like, we are already paying our taxes, then we pay for these services and stuff and then we donate money on their platforms, aren't we just doing their taxes as well in another way?
