Parenting sons vs daughters: Do we need to adapt our approach?

Hey fellow parents! As a new dad, I'm eager to learn and do my best. I want my child to grow into a compassionate and empathetic person. Since I didn't have a close relationship with my own father, I'm determined to be a positive influence in my kid's life. I'm curious - do you think parenting styles should vary depending on whether you have a son or a daughter? My sister, who has both a son and a daughter, shared her experiences with me. She noticed that her son and daughter have different personalities and energy levels, which made her adapt her parenting approach. I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences on this! How do you approach parenting, and do you think there are any differences in how we should parent sons vs daughters?
