My brother is an addict and he’s in debt

My (21F) brother (19M) was sent to college in Bangalore for his degree in JAIN university one and half year ago My brother was always the sweetest person, he was friends with everyone you name it, we had really high expectations from him when he went to college He and I are also very close to he always shares his life experiences with me, as time went by he started telling me about his friends and how rich they are and how easy it is for them to buy things including drugs It started as a very harmless habit of his which slowly became more serious and today he confessed on doing more substance than he told me before and he also told me he owes 60k to his friends who gets it for him Im worried sick about my brother and how his life may pan out after this whole thing What happens if he can’t pay them back? If he does, what lengths is he willing to go to? How can I help in this situation? Talking to him DOES NOT help it’s like talking to a wall he shows little to no remorse and he does not plan on stopping this addiction anytime soon. Also I can’t tell my parents bc both of them have cardiac issues my mom underwent surgery last month so telling this is not an option for me Pls guys I really need some advice from yall
