How do you guys handle being blocked/ghosted outta nowhere

I’ve been talking to this friend for around 2.5 months. While we didn’t chat much recently, they still remembered to wish me on my birthday yesterday, which I really appreciated. But this morning, I woke up to find that they had blocked me on Discord. It felt so sudden and unexpected, and I can’t figure out what might have caused this. Has anyone here gone through something similar? If so, how did you process it? And I've been kinda going hyper about it as I miss talking to them, any suggestions appreciated
