How do you deal with academic regret?

Like not performing well enough and now your academic record isn't impressive. Or choosing a wrong course or college, which has now severely limited your career options. Or just general other regrets related to academic decisions. I'm 26, and have been recently overthinking alot on my academic journey, and feeling really upset about the decisions I made. I feel stuck and lost now, and the FOMO of what could have been is killing me. I don't know how to process this. Please give advice 🥺
