How common has cheating become in India?

Day by day I’m hearing more and more cheating stories in relationships/ even long term married couples. Really gives me trust issues because I’ve seen seemingly strong relationships broken because of adultery. And it’s not just men doing it anymore, I’ve seen plenty of women too. I get dating apps play a role in having easier access to sex but there has to be more to it. Do you know why it’s becoming so common? Is cheating prevalent in your circles?
