How do y'all think we can actually improve the cleanliness and hygiene of street food in our country? A lot of street vendors just aren’t financially stable enough to prioritize hygiene. Handing them gloves won’t help—they’ll probably just discard them and go back to the same practices. Canceling their licenses isn’t an option because, well, most don’t even have one. And shutting them down by force? That just makes them play the victim card and turn public sentiment against the government—something politicians definitely want to avoid.
