Friends father being held captive

My friend's father has been working in a company called Al-Jabbar in Lusail, Qatar. The company has not paid his salary for 4 months to several employees(around 400) so they decided to go on a strike. The company told them to get it settled in court but instead they went to the police station and all the 400 employees were detained and are now being held captive. My friend and his family are really worried as his father is the only person earning in the house. Any suggestions to navigate this situation? Please help
