Do you think not paying taxes honestly is immoral?

I've paid road taxes on my car which is more than 6L and I get a road condition where I can't drive my car without getting hit. My Volvo car was hit in Ranchi the other day and the other car simply ran away. The estimated cost is 1.4L and after insurance I still gotta pay 36K. In my experience, the law and order situation on roads of Ranchi is the worst I've experienced in India. I'm sure this is not the only city in India without traffic lights🚦 I'm from an upper middle class family and I'm the sole breadwinner of my family. I've worked hard to become someone from a nobody and it took me years. I've paid 6 figures in taxes but lately, I've been feeling the brunt of taxes levied on car Insurance which is 18%. There are others but I'm solely gonna talk about this one. Why do I have to pay a tax on a plan that is there to protect my investments? Adn even after that the damages are not completely covered - for which I do not blame the insurance company. Moreover, taxes in India are one of the highest even among developed nations, let alone developing nations. Why is Gadkari not held responsible for such incidents? It could happen to you, to me, to your loved ones and I'm fed up of this nation in less than 5 years of living in this 💩 dump I used to call home with pride. The cities could easily earn more than the taxes levied by charging on felons for breaking the laws but cops are sleeping for some reason I do not know.
