Do you consider conditional love as valid form of love?

For me conditional love doesn't qualify as love. Someone said "Don't be naive, why anyone will love you unless you provide something". I felt like saying "And then they should not be naive enough to believe I can love them". Strange how I was naive for demanding unconditional love. Typical patriachists. Why is it they can demand things and that's valid but I cannot demand anything? I rejected love because it's conditional but that guy was trying to convince me that I need conditional love. And I am naive for demanding unconditional love. The main issue is we only demand something that helps us. I don't need sex or kids. So conditional love is useless. Maybe that guy was just horny. What I need is a sense of friendship.
