What measures are being taken to clean the Ganga during and in the aftermath of the Mahakumbh?

Asking this hear, coz there are articles online stating that there has been sewage diversion, more sewage treatment, trash skimmers and to quote "meticulous" cleaning around the ghats. So I want to know from the people who have visited the Mahakumbh..are there any such measures being taken?
