Why are Muslims in India so radicalised when they are actually just Hindus who are forcefully converted?

Muslims in the Indian subcontinent are just Hindus who were forcefully converted few hundred years back. Then why do the Muslims from India and Indian subcontinent countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh are more radicalised than the actual Muslims from the Arab world? Indonesian Muslims consider themselves to be part of Hinduism and that came a few thousand years before.
