I've been noticing a trend where people constantly mock Kerala and Malayalis under the guise of "jokes." But is it really humor, or just disguised hate? Language Mockery - People type " ➿️➿️➰️ " to imitate Malayalam, as if our script is funny instead of just different. Dismissing Positivity with Stereotypes - When someone praises Kerala, instead of engaging, they drown them out with "Dosa idli sambar chutney chutney" to shut them up. Hiding Behind "It's Just a Joke" - When called out, they gaslight by saying "Why are you so sensitive?" instead of addressing the clear mockery. Selective Outrage - If someone mocked their language or culture the same way, they'd be furious, but when it's Kerala, it's somehow "funny." Hypocrisy About Racism - When foreigners make fun of Indian accents, food, or culture, Indians get mad and call it racism. But when Kerala people react to being mocked, suddenly it's "just a joke"? So does that mean the foreigners were joking too, and not being racist? Or does racism only count when it's against the rest of India? I'm genuinely curious-why does this kind of targeted hate exist? And why do people excuse it as jokes when it's clearly meant to degrade a state and its people?
