UPSC Prep to Corporate World, seeking genuine advice.

28M graduated in 2018 with a degree in IT from a tier-2 college. I worked at an MNC for a year before shifting my focus to UPSC preparation in late 2019. While I cleared Prelims in all attempts, Mains proved to be a consistent hurdle, and I’ve now decided to re-enter the corporate world. I’m looking for advice, insights, or success stories from those who’ve faced a similar transition—any tips on navigating this shift would be greatly appreciated. My current plan is to gain 1–2 years of work experience here in India before pursuing a master’s degree (MS/MBA) from a top-tier university in the US or another country, depending on what feels right at the time. With this in mind how should I build my profile to strengthen my application for my future plans. Would love to hear your thoughts!
