Term Insurance Payout - Received/Rejected

Do you guys know anyone firsthand who have had their term insurance claim honoured by the term insurance company? How easy/difficult was the process? What was the reason if at all it got rejected? Apologies if it the topic brings out some bad memories for anyone.
