People who prepared with full time job, how did you do it?

I'm 21 stuck in a very low paying (12k) job (non tech). Is there any chance I could achieve something in life EVER with this job? I have no option but to work (family's financial problems). Anyone in similar situation, how did you achieve something big with such a hard life?
