Is rave and underground party culture still a thing in India?

I’ve heard a lot about rave and underground parties, especially in other countries, but I’ve never actually seen any footage or experienced it myself here in India. I’m wondering, why is there so little rave culture here compared to other places? Is it still a thing in India or has it faded away over time? I’ve never come across any vids or much talk about it locally. If anyone’s been to one or knows about how the scene is in different cities, I’d love to hear your thoughts or experiences. Are these parties still happening in the underground scene, or are they just not as popular anymore? What’s the vibe like at these parties, and how do they usually go down?
