Indian hand loom

Hello everyone, I’ll be visiting India (Mumbai) in two months. I would like to know where can I go to buy hand made rugs e.g. Kashmiri silk rugs basically quality product direct from source or at least the artist gets what’s due. I’ve had a known acquaintance get scammed in Jaipur. So that scares me.. is there anyway to scout products online? I would also be interested in other forms of local handicraft. Any recommendations or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Fwiw I will be travelling to Jodhpur for a few days for a family visit. Thanks in advance.
