How does sperm donation work ?

Like do I get paid ? I've read articles saying you need to be 18 and no diseases in the family lineage and all But the money part is a bit blurry like how much do you get ? , does it depend on the quality or quantity or what ? If anyone has or does donate sperm , please enlighten me
