Do you feel safe living under this broken legal system in India?

Leaving my beloved country soon a decision that shatters me to my core. But I just can’t take the risk anymore. The thought of a police officer knocking on my door, saying some girl I don’t even know filed charges against me, and then spending years trying to prove I’m innocent it’s a nightmare I can’t live with. Even marriage feels like a gamble. One wrong person could destroy not just me, but my entire family. The laws offer no protection, no fair chance to fight back. The system feels like it’s designed to crush the innocent instead of delivering justice. I dreamed of living here my whole life, growing old in the land I love. But now, I’m forced to leave, to find safety in a country with a legal system that doesn’t weaponize the innocent. It breaks my heart to say this, but the risks here are just too high. Do you feel safe living under this broken legal system in India? Because I don’t and it’s devastating.
