Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam metros announced in 2015 – yet, 10 years on, in 2025, construction or anything hasn’t started yet. When will ground break, and services start ? To compare Hyderabad metro's timeline insight: Approved 2003, Construction started 2010, Operational 2017 So it took 7 years build, and around 15 years from proposal. Other cities like Agra boasted faster metro completions. For Vijayawada, I think: MMTS be preferable? Connecting nearby towns like: • Machilipatnam • Eluru • Gudivada • Guntur ( as lot of commute happens) • Tenali • Mangalagiri And even extending to Rajahmundry
