Car Life tax in AP

As per [this article,](https://www.verdictum.in/court-updates/high-courts/life-tax-can-be-levied-only-on-cost-of-vehicle-under-6th-schedule-of-the-ap-motor-vehicles-taxation-act-1963-1484784) AP High court ruled in favor of charging life tax on car actual price. Show rooms appears to be unaware of this and still charging on ex-showroom price. Any pointers on how to handle this with out dealing with court procedures ?
