My mother's side relatives and cousins are from Andhra, but my father's side relatives and cousins are mostly from Hyderabad, settled here since long.

My father's side cousins are very much Telangana side, right from dialect to traditions too. Somehow never really had issue, except friendly ribbing over Telangana vs Andhra. When this Telangana vs Andhra thing broke out, really was not sure which side to take. Basically was existing in both worlds, one foot here, one foot there. Again after TG state was formed, mostly used to get teased by my Andhra side relatives that now I have become Telanganaite, in good spirit. For all the "Andhrollu" rhetoric, KCR and KTR actively courted the same Andhra businessmen whom they had accused of being looters. Again my perspective is more a layman, but am sure there would be many like me, who have relatives in both the states.
