BCRTH being shifted/merged with SPMSH: Does it bother you?

Recently there was some notification regarding the shifting of BCRTH to the new hospital building that is outside the campus. It seems that it’s being done in haste and no proper consultation with related stakeholders was undertaken. Students are going to be severely affected by this move. However ineffective and insufficient the campus hospital has been, merging it with a public hospital that too almost 2-3 kms away is going to cause lots of inconvenience for the campus community, students included. Can we do something about it? What’s your thoughts, students and alumni (and faculty and staff, if any)?
