Placement for reservation students

I am a quota student in EE with ~1300 rank, i know it will influence my placement prospects but I was wondering how much, my dr(~30) is currently less than the number of gen seats(~40) and I did not study at all so I can probably get to around 20 if i grind next sem(I hope) so would it still have a negative effect on my resume or a good enough cg will outshine my rank, just how much will my reservation actually matter in the long run, this quota stuff has been really messing with my mind a lot ever since I joined.
