Calculator recommendations for ELL101

Hi guys! I am a student pursuing CS in IITD AD and we are going to have ELL101 for our second semester. I saw from the fresher resources site that we require a good calculator for this course. Does anyone have any specific model that you can suggest? Also any tips that would be useful for this course is appreciated. Thanks!
