Mtech in cs

Mtech in cs Any senior who has done btech in non circuital branch and mtech (in iit)from cs or electrical I think one doesn't need to give Gate exam for this u need to do some course like DSA (form institute)etc Is that so ? Main motive Being a non circuital branch if i got to Mtech(advance standing) cs would get placed well than my current branch I have also read a blog on quora of an cse alumni Aman Goel, he gave a path to get a job in tech for a non circuital branch student
