Highway Lifetime and yearly subscription are new STT in india May be wrong sub, but it's more related to STT and Highways. I would call it as Tax_on_tax_on_tax scam. Back when STT was introduced reasons were we don't have to pay LTCG, STCG. Fast forward we pay both. The new trend which ministry of roads(or anyone concerned) has proposed or likely to propose the bill which offers yearly subscription or Lifetime free subscription is the new STT.
