1. My mom received a call from an unknown number. The caller, an elderly-sounding man, claimed to be from LIC and mentioned my father’s name, saying he needed to deposit money related to a policy.
2. The caller asked if this was the number linked to her net banking, and my mom, being innocent, confirmed it.
3. The caller claimed to transfer ₹50 first and then ₹500, ₹10,000, and ₹30,000, which he asked...
